College and Career Research

The career that I am interested in the photography field that I would like to pursue is biomedical photography at Rochester institute of technology. The reason why this career field appeals to me is because I am interested in anything in the medical field and photography. This career path fits both of those. The pros for going to this college program are that this college is the only college that has a bachelor’s degree in biomedical photography. Another reason why this college is the better choice for this career path is because finding a job is much easier because you can find a job in many other fields instead of just medical. Such as technical service representative and web publisher. Rochester offers about 238 million dollars in financial aid money that would go towards the education. This college program takes about 4 years and only offers a Bachelor’s degree. A biomedical photography earns in the range of 40,000 to 60,000 dollars a year.  An interesting fact that I have learned about this field is that 85% of people who have graduated from the biomedical photography field have found a job.
